bing Takes Over Yahoo in Search

After a lot of efforts from Microsoft bing is at last the No. 2 search engine in the United States. According to the most former report from comScore. Bing now accounts for 15.1% of searches. At the time of its launch in June 2009 bing was at no. 3 with an 8.4 percent search engine market share.

So now bing snatched No. 2 position from Yahoo which is dripped to third, Google kept on leading search engines in December with 65.9 pct market share.

According to comScore press release the search engine rankings for Dec 2011, are:

The report further say more than 18.2 billion definitive core searches were carried in December. This is twice  from searches in November. Google toped the direction with 12 billion of the entire searches; bing constituting  2.7 billion searches is second, and Yahoo now stands third with 2.6 billion queries . Ask Network was used for 531 million searches, followed by AOL with 287 million.

In December, 68.1 percent of total organic searches were carried out from Google, and Bing powered about  26.5 percent of all organic searches.

For TripIt users this Gmail add on will check your inbox frequently in a day for any travel plans and will imports travel plans to the TripIt account automatically. So that you will not be needed to manually forward emails to TripIt account. If there are already trips with matching dates, TripIt will add plan to your trip else it will create new trip.

This app adds a “unsubscribe” button to your Inbox so you can conveniently  unsubscribe from mailing lists and newsletters just with one click. This app stops sender from sending messages to your inbox. It works will all major mailing websites.
